Pirate’s Gold is a well-known marinade sauce brand with a large distribution. Their target market includes anyone looking for a tasty, rich, and fun sauce.
The problem: their design was outdated; it wasn’t communicating the brand’s energy, nor connecting with today’s audience. It was therefore important to modernise the design while staying recognisable.
The solution: I created a new, playful logo and made it the label’s protagonist, ensuring high readability of the brand name. I translated the pirate theme into a modern-vintage and playful style, but I maintained the original brand colours and bottle shape to ensure recognisability.
