QUICK VIEW ABOUT ME AND THIS PROJECT
For 2 years with Sport-Creative we focused our core business on the collaboration in official Formula 1 events.
I managed the creative team responsible for proposing and producing materials for the F1 Fan Zone, Paddock, F1 Stores, and related sponsors, overseeing every aspect — from the creative concept and graphic development to production and installation.
AS STUDIO DIRECTOR
managed a team of eight professionals in our Brussels office and two additional teams in Antwerp and Trieste. As Studio Director, I held direct responsibility for the success of various projects and their often extremely tight deadlines.
Throughout the day, alongside the managing director, I was in constant contact with different members of the Formula 1 management and sponsor representatives. My job was to understand client needs and make suitable proposals by delegating specific tasks to each team member and continuously monitoring their progress.
After client approval, I handled the high-resolution development of each project, ensuring attention to detail and preparing the materials for production and installation.
AS GRAPHIC DESIGNER
In addition to my managerial role, I maintained high productivity as a designer.
Beyond creative development, I was responsible for preparing mockups for client proposals and producing the final approved graphics.
The goal was to bring fresh, innovative ideas and push creative boundaries. We succeeded in breaking through the standard visual conventions of Formula 1 events, establishing ourselves as a significant player in the organization of one of the world’s biggest sporting events.
TRIPS
My team members and I were constantly present at every Grand Prix.
Together with our account manager, my task was to present our proposals to the Formula 1 management and circuit promoters. I also worked directly with on-site teams to ensure the correct placement of our products within the circuit, Paddock, and Fan Zone areas.
For all of us, it was an incredible experience and a fantastic opportunity to see our projects come to life at such a major international event.
