Copper Compass is a Maryland distillery that produces handcrafted spirits, combining tradition with influences and ingredients from around the world.
They target primarily high-income black women aged between 20 and 39.
The problem: Copper Compass needed a design that would stand out from the crowd while communicating the brand’s luxury nature and the blend of modernity and heritage of their production.
The solution: I created a minimalist and elegant label to convey the product’s quality and brand transparency, utilising the gears design from the logo as unique decorative elements. The luxurious and modern aesthetic is also achieved through the glossy finish of the entire label, drawing attention on the shelves and distinguishing it from the classic “gold hot foil”.
