Azalla was a brand from Florida, focused on selling recreational CBD products, from tinctures to pre-rolls and whole buds. The name “Azalla” refers to an ancient term used to describe the connection between hemp and wellness, reflecting the brand’s roots and philosophy. Its target audience consists of both men and women, aged between 21 and 35, with medium to high incomes, looking for adventure, fun, and quality products.

The problem: Azalla had just entered the market and was dissatisfied with its initial design. It needed a brand image that could convey its values of energy, fun, and quality, but above all, it needed to differentiate itself in the rapidly growing CBD market.

The solution:I developed a clean and balanced visual system to convey the brand’s quality and reliability.

The saturated colour and use of icons served to communicate the characteristics of each flavour, while also conveying fresh and energic vibes.

Given the strong meaning behind the name, I chose to use the logo as the only decorative element, repeating its icon to create a rhythmic, patterned band that runs along the edges of the packaging.

After working on the packaging line, Azalla commissioned me to design its website, brochure, strain cards, sell sheet, and various hero images for both the website and social media.

Although this business is no longer active, I decided to include it in this portfolio because Anthony (Azalla’s owner) was my very first client in the packaging design field, and our collaboration was instrumental in instilling my passion for the industry.
