In 2013, I completed a three-year course in Graphic Design and Advertising at the European University of Design in Italy. Before finding a job as a designer, I spent four years serving tables, from Paris to Ghent, to be able to afford an internship. This shaped my determination and patience, and by working closely with people, I learnt to understand both clients’ and businesses’ needs.
In 2017 I finally began working as a junior graphic designer with PimpMyBrand, a small startup in Brussels, but things changed within a couple of months… The managing director of Sport Creative (in collaboration with Sport Signage) entrusted me with leading our small creative team and collaborate with the F1 teams to coordinate the creation and/or installation of many designs for F1 events to be used in the Fanzone, Cooldown Room, F1 shops, Wayfinding and so on. Every Grand Prix was a new story: adapting the designs, creating new ones, travelling on-site to supervise printing and installation… This experience shaped my ability to work under pressure, pay attention to details, meet deadlines, coordinate production and always respond to client needs.
At the end of 2019, I decided to quit the event industry to shape my own career by focusing on branding and packaging design. Since then, I have worked with clients from all over the world, small and medium-sized businesses from different sectors, developing brands from A to Z or revamping existing identities.
Even though I changed industry, the essence of my work remains the same: every brand is a new story and my job is to shape it.
If you’re ready to unleash your brand with depth and purpose, you need a foundation that lasts, because a strong brand is more than a punchy tagline and a pretty logo.
